In order to increase communication from the faculty and administration of Pike Liberal Arts to the parents and students, we are asking all parents/students to add an email address to your Edline account.

Those who do not yet have an Edline account, never set one up last year, or have lost their information need to contact Jeremy Mathews either through the office or by email at jmathews@pikelib.com to rectify this as soon as possible.

AR Testing/Email/Edline

I understand that students sometimes forget to take things home from time to time.  As long as it doesn't become a habit it is not a problem.  Anytime your child forgets his/her AR folder, just send a note or email letting me know if your child is ready to take a test.  That is not a problem at all.  Sometimes I will email you and ask permission for your child to take a test if I think he/she is ready.  They are off to a great start!

P.E./ Art/ Library/ Computer

• Our P.E. teachers this year are Coach Avant and Coach Pouncey.  We have new rules for P.E. this year.  Students must wear tennis shoes for P.E.  There will be no more Toy Day on Fridays.  Our P.E. time is 10:15-10:45.
• Our art teacher is Mrs. Goff again this year.  Art time is on Mondays from 9:30-10:00.
• Mrs. Hinson is our librarian.  Library Day is on Tuesdays from 9:30-10:00.
• Computer Day is on Wednesdays from 9:15-9:45.
